When the country focuses on its economic struggles and well-being, most experts and media sources focus on millennials. This latest wave of emerging adults has had difficulty finding secure jobs and therefore, many rely on their parents for support and shelter. Despite these prominent trends, coming-of-age struggles are a universal trait among all generations. Previous generations also cope with similar financial stress. But the cause is not because they lack resources, but because they have the resources to help less affluent members of the family.
